Our management team
Simon Piercy
Director
Simon is a co-founder of CTRM Cubed and heads up the company’s operations. He started his career in Fintech 25 years ago working for UK blue-chip PowerGen (now E.On) and was instrumental in the implementation of the company's earliest trading systems heading up the front-office ETRM systems group and working on both vendor and in-house projects. Simon previously founded Contigo software, building a successful CTRM business, concluding in a trade sale. Having worked on projects and in consultancy roles throughout his career, he brings a wealth of hands-on experience, specialising in Power and Gas commodities, as well as technical expertise in Web and SaaS services. Simon holds an honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
Andy Bennett
Director
Andy is a co-founder of CTRM Cubed and heads up the company’s technical division. He has worked in the energy sector for over 25 years, predominantly for the UK blue-chip PowerGen (now E.On), holding software development and architecture roles in their Retail, Generation, and more latterly, Energy Trading groups. He was instrumental in the integration of PowerGen's earliest trading systems during NETA and more recently, large technical ETRM integration and migration projects, in addition to countless in-house development projects over the years. He brings a wide range of software development and technology experience, specialising in web development technologies. Andy holds an honours degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University.
Abbie Jackson
Digital Marketing Manager
Abbie brings a wealth of experience in design, graphical design, digital platforms, social media and marketing, having gained experience in similar roles within the industrial sector.
A talented artist and a wizard in all thing Adobe, including Photoshop and After Effects, Abbie brings a touch of creative flair to CTRM Cubed.
Abbie holds an honours degree in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University
Kashif Javaid
Business Development Manager
Dr Kashif Javaid is Head of Business Development and is responsible for partnerships, new business and account management. Kashif has over 15 years’ experience in the energy trading and renewable space across in a variety of roles in consulting, with solution providers and in industry. He is a seasoned expert in building sales teams and processes to ensure organisations can scale effectively. Kashif holds a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London.
